How We Produce It
RES Rosso da Uvaggio Antico is crafted from Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from ancient, low-yield vineyards.
The soil is clay-limestone, and the vineyards are located at an altitude of approximately 300 meters above sea level.
Harvesting is late and done entirely by hand.
The winemaking process uses indigenous yeasts, involves long maceration, pressing in cement vats, and a minimum aging period of 24 months in stainless steel tanks.
The methods adopted, combined with the unique terroir of our hills, help achieve a high concentration of resveratrol and the fullest expression of the aromas and natural properties of the original grape varieties.
Structure and Uniqueness
The color is bright red, and the bouquet reveals ripe red fruits.
On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied, with hints of bitter almond and harmoniously integrated tannins.
